COURSE CONDITIONS:

Regarding our Tuesday "rain-out days", or "course deemed unplayable" days:

These days will be decided upon by Tim and KPWL President(s). You may play anytime later that week (through Sunday) WITH another league member to MAKE up the Tuesday's game! Just sign your cards and put them in the club house mailbox and we will take care of the paper work. If the event for the week was a flag event then there would be no event. Any questions please call!!

Also we will now have a sign posted regarding lost balls when we have unfavorable course conditions, as decided by Tim.

The Greatest Game……….

Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated.

A child can play it well, and a grown man can never master it.

Any single round of it is full of unexpected triumphs

And seemingly perfect shots that end in disaster.

It is almost a science, yet it is a puzzle without an answer.

It is gratifying and tantalizing, precise and unpredictable.

It requires complete concentration and total relaxation.

It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect.

It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is, without a doubt, the greatest game mankind has ever invented!

Two women joined each other on the golf links every month. On this particular day, one of the women strode to the first tee, pulled back her club, closed her eyes, and swung with all her might. The ball hooked off to the side, ricocheted off several trees, and took a fantastic bounce onto the green and into the cup for a hole in one! Her friend turned and frowned, “Sylvia, you sneak!” she said angrily, “you’ve been practicing!!”
